PR Advisor, Interim  £30-35k pro rata, London

To provide exceptional PR expertise to one of the UK's largest financial and business service organisations, within the firm's central PR team.  You must have experience within the financial sector and be confident that you can hit the ground running. 

The company are also looking for a permanent PR Advisor, but the interim contract will be two months regardless of whether a permanent advisor is available to start early. The job specification for the permanent role is detailed below:

Creating and implementing PR strategies & campaigns, you will liaise with partners and staff to unearth news stories and company news that help to create and sustain the brand strategy.  You will provide PR support on brand awareness initiatives, develop and execute thought leadership issues across service streams and core sectors, and liaise with journalists in national and trade media as well as managing internal communications of PR successes.

The successful candidate will possess fantastic 'news' sense and relationships with journalists.  As well as excellent copy writing and crisis management skills, you will also be expected to demonstrate account management skills in terms of evaluating and reporting on progress.  A natural networker who has the ability to influence on all levels, you must also be a committed and robust fast-thinker who can work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.   

Ideally you will be a graduate with 3-5 years PR or journalistic experience, and will have a professional qualification as well as demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning. You will also have experience in a PR agency or in a PR position within a professional services firm.
